Waterline Improvements

City of Edmond, OK

The City of Edmond (City) secured Cowan Group Engineering (CGE) for the extension of a 12-inch water main along East 2nd Street.

Phase 1 scope of the project included survey, design, Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) permitting, and construction administration for the 12-inch waterline extension along the north side of East 2nd Street (Route 66) from Air Depot Road to Midwest Boulevard, approximately 5,300 LF. The new waterline included trenching and bore construction along the corridor with zinc coated ductile iron pipe to serve domestic and fire flow for existing and future development.

Phase 2 scope of the project included survey, design, and construction administration for the 12-inch waterline extension along the north side of East 2nd Street from Midwest Boulevard to North Douglas Road, approximately 5,300 LF. The new waterline included trenching and bore construction along the corridor to serve domestic and fire flow for existing and future development. The new waterline provides additional cross connections to the City’s parks water systems along Lake Arcadia and connection to the City’s waterline serving the Town of Arcadia.
